Boil-Water Advisory Issued For Venetian Isles | WDSU New Orleans

Sewerage and Water Board officials are warning residents in one New Orleans East neighborhood not to drink or bathe with tap water before boiling it.

A fire hydrant in the 19000 block of Chef Menteur Highway was struck Thursday morning, causing a loss of water pressure to businesses and residents east of the Highway 11 and Chef Menteur intersection.
