Ms Betty Fox will host a final garage sale at the world-famous Ernie K-Doe Mother-in-Law Lounge on December 4th and 5th. She'll be keeping the many photos and posters that adorn the lounge's walls, but suits and dresses belonging to Ernie and Antoinette K-Doe will be for sale. Fox says she'll also be selling the Lounge's upright piano, amplifiers, barstools and some other bar equipment.

The sale starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, December 4 at the Mother-In-Law Lounge at 1500 N. Claiborne Ave.

Opened by Ernie K-Doe in 1994, the Lounge is a shrine to the immortal legend of K-Doe. The walls are adorned with photographs and artwork of K-Doe throughout his life. Many pictures of K-Doe's family and friends can be seen as well...
