US Army Secretary Visits Spillway | WDSU

U.S. Army Secretary John McHugh, the Army Corps of Engineers and members of the Mississippi River Commission took to the skies Tuesday to check how the levees are holding after weeks of high river levels. McHugh flew over the historically high Mississippi River with New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and Major Gen. Michael Walsh, head of the Mississippi River Commission.
