Swoon's art looks like graffiti but it's not -- not exactly. Her
transparent-paper prints, pasted on like wallpaper, appear
to be painted on the building's wall.

Graffiti is a feature of big-city blight. It is also a feature of big-city fashion. It is public expression on the grand scale, yet it’s usually inscrutably personal.
