Commander's Palace Wine Benefit for Sous Chef Jay Wells | Eater NOLA
Commander's Palace is hosting a fundraiser wine tasting next Tuesday, November 1, from 4:00-6:30PM. All proceeds from the event will go to Commander's sous chef Jay Wells, whose home caught fire October 25. With the funds raised, Commander's will buy gift cards from Macy's and Stein Mart to help Wells and his wife rebuild their lives. Guests will sample Far Niente varietals from the Nickel & Nickel winery, along with passed hors d'oevres, in the restaurant's patio area...
Cost: $25, no reservations required. Enter through the garden gate behind the restaurant.
