Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar was selected the Best Sports Bar in North America in the third annual contest by ESPN Mobile, the site announced Friday. The downtown sports bar and restaurant, located at 1009 Poydras St., was the only local restaurant in the competition. It bested Buffalo Blues in Pittsburgh, Hickory Tavern in Charlotte, N.C., Pluckers Wing Bar in Austin and Taco Mac in Atlanta in the final round.
