Clair Lorell IN as Eater New Orleans Editor - [Eater New Orleans - All]

The site has a new leader

Vox Media is pleased to announce that Clair Lorell is now the editor of Eater New Orleans.

Clair has previously worked for The Atlantic magazine, The Washington Post, Digiday, and the American Society of News Editors, where she managed a community engagement project with local news outlets around the country. Most recently she managed Farm & Table New Orleans, a series of events connecting local chefs, farmers, and residents. The newly-graduated Louisiana Food Fellow and nacho connoisseur is a native of Virginia who settled in New Orleans in 2016.

Clair replaces Stephanie Carter, who has moved on to new opportunities but still plans to contribute to the site as a freelancer.

Clair will oversee the publication of content on Eater Nola, where the team will continue to cover the area’s major restaurant news developments, as well as highlight its standout dining destinations. You’ll also see her name pop up in the new Eater Nola Facebook group, offering restaurant recommendations to members. Reach out to Clair with story tips via email.
