

The Grammy-nominated artist plays at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 11
The city’s “Song Stories” concert series continues December 11, when Gallier Hall hosts a free performance by PJ Morton. The New Orleans-born singer and pianist is best known as a keyboardist and backing vocalist in Maroon 5. His fourth studio album, Gumbo, was nominated for two Grammy awards.
Morton will perform in Gallier Hall’s Ty Tracy Theater, which just received a $587,000 renovation. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Tickets are first-come, first-served and will be distributed from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 11 outside Gallier Hall. Complimentary drinks and refreshments will be provided.
The concert is presented by the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy and the 2018 NOLA Foundation. Past performers include Javier Gutierrez and Anais St. John.
