Man shot in Marrero, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office says

A man was shot Friday afternoon (April 19) in Marrero, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

JPSO sent a notification about the shooting, near the intersection of Ames and Lapalco boulevards, about 3:30 p.m. The wounded man’s injuries are not considered life threatening, according to the sheriff’s office.

No other information was immediately available.
