Two men shot in their car in Hollygrove early Monday

Two men were shot in a car while driving home in the Hollygrove neighborhood early Monday morning (April 22), according to New Orleans police.

The victims, ages 24 and 26, were shot while in their vehicle near Airline Highway and Eagle Street, causing them to crash their car. Police said suspects in the shooting fled the scene in an unknown direction.

One victim was shot several times and was taken by ambulance to a hospital. The other victim was shot in the arm and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
