2 shot in the 7th Ward, New Orleans police say

New Orleans police responded to a double shooting in the 7th Ward early Friday (May 31), NOPD said.

Police sent a notification about 4:35 p.m. regarding the shooting in the 1400 block of North Villere Street.

No other information, including the wounded people’s gender, age or the extent of their injuries, was immediately available.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact NOPD’s 1st District at 504-658-6010 or provide information anonymously through Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
