Multiple injuries are reported at a suburban Denver school as police respond to reports of shots fired, according to the law enforcement authorities.
Two suspects are in custody, officials in Douglas County say.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office in Castle Rock, Colorado, tweeted that shots were fired at the STEM School Highlands Ranch - a school with more than 1,500 students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
"First update, 2 injured, deputies in process of identifying and locating shooter(s). Still active and unstable scene," the sheriff's office tweeted.
It was unclear who was injured or the nature of the injuries.
