Man shot in the thigh in Metairie: JPSO

A 21-year-old man was shot in the thigh Wednesday afternoon (May 1) in Metairie, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies found the wounded man while responding to reports of gunfire about 3 p.m. in the 8400 block of Milan Street, said JPSO spokesman Capt. Jason Rivarde.

The shooting victim was in stable condition Wednesday evening.
