A man was wounded when gunfire broke out Tuesday night (May 21) in Central City, New Orleans police reported.

Officers were investigating the shooting in the 2100 block of Willow Street, NOPD spokesman Juan Barnes said in an email sent just before 11:30 p.m.

No further details, such as the man’s age or the extent of his injuries, were immediately available.
