Man shot dead in Little Woods area: NOPD

A man was fatally shot Thursday night (June 27) in the Little Woods area of New Orleans East, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The shooting occurred in the 11000 block of Morrison Road, near the intersection with Wright Road (map), police said in an email issued about 9 p.m.

No further details were immediately available, police said.
