The Mississippi River is 16.04 feet. There are 33 minor seepage points. 168 bays are open on the Spillway. The Corps of Engineers met today and decided on a potential slow closing of the Spillway. When the River reaches 15.5 feet at New Orleans the slow closing will begin. This should be in the 2nd and 3rd week of July. There is still a lot of water upriver, so it is something to monitor. River can not exceed 1.25 million cubic feet per second.
