Upper high in the West is directing areas of disturbed weather our way. That's what helped fire up our rain today. No big areas of rain moving our way through Friday now. Over the weekend it looks like another disturbance will impact our weather.
There is a slight chance tropical development for a tropical wave causing disorganized rain near Hispaniola. As it moves WNW towards the Bahamas and Florida, there is a 10% chance tropical development.
A tropical wave off the coast of Africa is moving West 15 mph. It's dealing with some dry air and strong upper level winds. Upper level winds will diminish and a tropical depression may form this weekend. This one will approach the Northern Leeward Islands.
