An air quality alert is in effect through midnight. Saharan dust is in place across the area. You could really notice the hazy skies today. No alert tomorrow. With the high heat it's a good idea to take breaks during the hot time of the day especially if you have problems breathing.
Watching an area of rain to our north. Forecast models show it moving towards the Southeast. Some models indicate it moving into the NE Gulf with rain increasing. It is something to monitor. The time to watch is Wednesday into Saturday. This is hurricane season!
