You will notice that less humid air Thursday through Saturday. While it will be less humid, it's still going to be hot during the day with highs in the low 90s. Rain chances begin to go up again Sunday.
Dorian is forecast to become a hurricane. Winds are 50 mph. Moving NW 13 mph. 275 miles ESE of Puerto Rico. Wind is forecast to intensify before landfall in Puerto Rico. Hurricane force winds are possible, and a hurricane watch is in effect.
The forecast cone is very wide as Dorian approaches Florida. That shows there is a lot of uncertainty on exactly where it will go. The forecast strength may change as well. The European Model takes Dorian close to Tampa, then Apalachicola, then near Pensacola and then it turns North. This is a change from the earlier forecast. There is uncertainty as to where Dorian will end up after moving across Puerto Rico, which can affect the future movement.
The GFS Model or American model takes Dorian to NE Florida and then slowly along the Georgia and South Carolina Coast then offshore from the North Carolina Coast.
Obviously there is not a consensus in the models on where Dorian will go. That's why it's important to stay tuned especially since this will be happening during a Holiday Weekend.
