Mississippi River is falling. Now 13.28 feet. The Corps of Engineers will continue to inspect the levees twice a week until the River falls below 11 feet. There are 20 minor seepage points.
The Phil Klotzbach updated his Hurricane Season Forecast. 12 named storms, 6 hurricanes and 2 major hurricanes possible through the remainder of the Season. The reasoning is because El Nino is fading, Sea Surface Temperatures near average, but Wind Shear remains high. There is still a lot of dry Saharan Dust.
