Record high was tied at the Airport Friday with a high of 98. Last hit 98 on this date in 1995.
Low chance tropical development for a disorganized area of rain in the NE Gulf and across Florida. If you look carefully you will notice a bit of a spin over North Florida. The rain is moving NE 5-10 mph. It's a 10% chance development in 48 hours and 20% in 3-5 days with the greatest chance of development along the coast of South Carolina or North Carolina. There is some potential for flash flooding over parts of Florida.
Our rain chances increase next week. It will not be as hot, so that will be nice for a change. Highs will be closer to 90 instead of the upper 90s.
