Who dat say they gonna buy this condo?

In a move we hope doesn’t foreshadow a distant relocation, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has listed his three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo for sale. Records from the Orleans Parish Assessor’s Office show that Payton purchased the 2,885-square-foot condo for $1,465,000 in 2014. At the time, his on-the-go lifestyle made a low-maintenance condo appealing, according to reporting from MyNewOrleans.com.

Payton hired interior designer Shaun Smith to decorate the home, on the recommendation of Saints general manager Mickey Loomis. The designer brought neutral hues and rich finishes to the abode, which is one of 12 condos in the former LaSalle Elementary School. Quartzite counters and a mosaic backsplash lend gloss to the kitchen, which faces an open dining and living area on the home’s main, upper floor. It connects to the master bedroom suite, which includes a patio, powder room, laundry room, and walk-in closet designed by The Amandas.

Presumably, this master bedroom is where Payton holed up after last season’s heartbreaking Saints-Rams no-call.

“After the game, much like normal people, I sat, probably didn’t come out of my room, I ate Jenny’s ice cream and watched Netflix for three straight days,” Payton said during a year-end press briefing.

With its light-blocking, floor-to-ceiling linen-cotton draperies by Kravet, 14-foot ceilings, and four-poster bed, the bedroom looks like a comfortable place to sleep, eat, and curse incompetent NFL refs. There’s also a ground floor with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a mud room, and a family room. It opens to a

The corner unit condo sits three blocks from Audubon Park. It’s asking $2,300,000.
