Rain chances go up Monday night as a strong cold front moves through early Tuesday morning. The wind is going to blow. Winds gusts over 40 mph possible. Gale warnings may be posted. Temperatures are going to drop. Highs will be early Tuesday with temperatures falling into the 40s during the day. Cloudy skies, windy conditions and some rain will make it an unpleasant day. Much colder weather is forecast Wednesday morning. Lows will drop below freezing on the Northshore into the upper 20s to low 30s. Freeze warnings or hard freeze warnings are possible. Lows on the South Shore will be in the mid to upper 30s. Highs will be near 50. An area of low pressure may develop in the Gulf and move Northeast offshore from our coast, but will increase our rain chances again on Thursday.
