Rain is likely Thursday. Right now it looks like the heaviest rain will be from McComb to BR to Lake Charles. Forecast models showing 4" rainfall totals near BR. An area of low pressure will move east across the area increasing our rain chances. Another cold front moves through Friday, clearing out the weather for the weekend. It will be a sunny cool weekend with highs in the upper 50s to near 60.
The Quadrantids Meteor Shower is Saturday morning. The best time to look is around 2 AM in the morning. Hopefully the skies will clear out in time.
