What a day! 1.85" of rain fell at the Airport. Many locations had an inch or more of rain. Finally the rain has moved out. Another cold front moves through early Saturday with cooler drier weather forecast for the weekend.
Some clouds overnight and fog possible. The question is whether skies will clear enough for the Quadrantid Meteor Shower. You can try! Look NE at 2 to 3 in the morning. 60-120 meteors an hour are possible. Fast moving bluish meteors. Be sure to allow 15-20 minutes to allow your eyes to adjust to the light.
