There is a slight risk severe storms Saturday. A strong onshore flow develops Friday with rain chances increasing and temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 70s. A strong cold front moves our way Saturday. The Storm Prediction Center is already outlining our area for the potential for severe storms. The fact that the area is being outlined so far in advance is an indicator of the concern for severe weather Saturday. Forecast models are already indicating strong gusty winds that could cause power outages. The weather improves for Sunday, but the front makes a return appearance Monday as a warm front with rain chances.
