It's looking chilly this week. Highs Tuesday will be near 50. More clouds Wednesday and not as cold with highs in the mid 50s. Warmer air moves in from the Gulf as an area of low pressure moves along the coast. This will pop the highs into the low to mid 60s. Rain chances increase with some locally heavy rain possible. The rain moves out and the weather improves Friday with highs near 60. Sunny skies over the weekend with highs near 60.
The Mississippi River is rising. Now 14.05 feet. it is forecast to rise to about 15 feet by the end of the month.
