Lows South Shore will be in the mid 30s to low 40s. Highs climb into the upper 50s. An onshore flow develops Sunday. Clouds increase. Highs will be near 70. Cloudy Monday as a cold front approaches. Models right now showing some rain potential. Will have to monitor. Euro model shows weather clearing for Fat Tuesday, but the GFS Model shows rain potential. It is still far out. Will keep you posted.
The Mississippi River is high. Right now at 14.85 feet and rising. Forecast to get up to 16.5 feet March 2nd.
The Pearl River at Pearl River is forecast to reach major flood at 19 feet February 26th. Right now it's at 16.81 feet.
Pearl River at Bogalusa is now at 21.21 feet. Forecast to get up to moderate flood at 22.5 feet on February 25th.
