Rain chances are low. We are about 2.43" of rain below average for the month. The soil is dry with the warm weather we have been having. Evaporation is taking place. It's time to water the garden! The rain would help with the high pollen too. Right now Oak and Willow pollen is high. Sedge is moderate.
A cold front will move through Saturday night with some rain chances for the first of the week and slightly cooler temperatures.
The Mississippi River is rising. It is forecast to reach 15 feet Wednesday. That means the Corps of Engineers will enter Phase 2 and will have daily inspections of the levees. Right now there are 30 minor seepage points in the Metro area.
