The Mississippi River is 15.18 feet. Once it goes above 15 feet, the Corps of Engineers conducts daily inspections of the levees. Forecast crest is 16.5 feet, which is below the recent crest. There are 30 minor seepage points.
The pollen is high, especially Oak Pollen. Rain would help wash out the atmosphere, but our rain chances are low. There is a slight chance Sunday as a weak cold front gets into the area, but rain amounts will stay low. A warm front will move North Monday with some showers, and then a cold front will move through Tuesday with some showers.
