The Mississippi River is falling. It is now at 16.4 feet at New Orleans. There are 31 minor seepage points. The amount of water flowing past the Metro is also slowing some. Now 1.2 million cubic feet per second flows past the City. The River is still high and fast, but at least it is beginning to drop.
Sneezing? Tree pollen is high. Oak, Willow and Pine are the culprits. Spring arrives March 19th, but everything is leafing out and blooming, so Bless you!
Warmer weather this week. Cold fronts look to stay to our North. We will continue with an onshore flow. That means warm moist air will continue to move into the area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s to near 80. Slight rain chance each day.
