Forecast models for tomorrow have not been consistent. The timing of the rain and storms has changed run to run. Right now it looks like the cold front passage has slowed, and consequently the risk for severe storms has slowed as well. There is the potential for warm temps Thursday to climb into the low to mid 80s. The latest model run indicates strong storms developing along the coast near Terrebonne Parish moving NE across the area into the Metro and then the Northshore. There are some indications that we could have a risk for large hail on the order of 2" hail near the Metro the the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Be able to get warnings overnight and Thursday.
