Another hot day is forecast Wednesday. Highs will mostly be in the low 90s. There's a 40% chance rain and storms beginning late morning into the afternoon. Rain chance begin to go up Thursday morning as a tropical wave moves west across the Gulf heading towards the Texas Coast.
Depression #7 will likely become a tropical storm Wednesday. The next name up is Gonzalo. Right now the depression is heading into an area of dry air with strong upper level winds. The NHC has it intensifying to winds of 65 mph. The Global Forecast Models dissipate the system after it moves into the Caribbean because of dry air and strong winds aloft. Other models maintain it as a tropical storm. This will be something to monitor.
