A weak front stalls in our area as we go into the weekend. It will act as a focus for rain, plus areas of disturbed weather will move from the North to the South across the area. There will be the potential for locally heavy rain at times. Over time the ground will become saturated, and may lead to some flood issues. This will be something to monitor going into the weekend and the first of the week. Rain chances go down Wednesday, and temperatures will go up.
The Full Thunder Moon or Full Buck Moon is Saturday night at 11:44 pm. I think Full Thunder Moon kind of works for our area! There is also a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. That is when the Moon is in the Earth's Outer Shadow. You will notice a very faint shadow on the Moon...if the weather cooperates. The Penumbral Eclipse begins at 10:07 pm. Maximum at 11:29 pm, and ends at 12:52 am.
