The Waning Gibbous Moon will be a bright light in the sky during the Perseid Meteor Shower in the morning. The peak viewing mornings are August 11 through 13. By the 13th the Moon will be a Waning Crescent with less light. The only problem is that our rain chances begin to go up by Thursday, so there may be more clouds. Look up early morning if you can!
