Depression 11 is in the Central Atlantic. Max winds are 35 mph and moving W 14 mph. It is dealing with some wind shear, dry air and Saharan Dust. Still it is forecast to become a tropical storm by Wednesday night. It may intensify some as the wind shear decreases. Going out in time the wind shear is then forecast to increase, and it may become a tropical wave North of the Leeward Islands.
The Perseid Meteor show is peaking tonight into Thursday morning. Clouds and rain in the area may cause problems. Unfortunately rain chances are high Wednesday and Thursday.
