Nice in the morning. Lows drop into the low to upper 70s. You will notice less humid air! Mostly cloudy skies forecast Friday with highs in the low 80s and a few mid 80s possible. High clouds are moving in from Tropical Depression 22. There is a slight rain chance.
A cold front moves through and is along the Coast Saturday morning. Lows will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Wind ENE 10-20, but becoming East 35 mph along the coast. There is about a 50% chance of rain and storms. Best chance is closer to the coast. Lows Sunday will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. It's about a 60% rain chance with some tropical moisture from TD 22 possibly moving our way. Breezy East winds continue along the Coast. There will be the potential for a water rise along the East facing shorelines.
The GFS Model brings rain to our coast Saturday and increases the rain for the South Shore Sunday. It develops TD 22 into a storm, and takes it to the lower Texas Coast Monday. The EURO model develops TD 22 into a storm Friday. Takes it to the Lower Texas Coast Monday, and then towards South Central Louisiana Wednesday.
This is a system that should be monitored.
