Beta, Paulette and Teddy are all now post-tropical. There are no active tropical systems in the Atlantic Basin right now! Nice for a change!
There will still be impacts from Beta. it is causing heavy rain now over SE Texas, and there are concerns for flooding should a rainband set up over the same area. Beta is forecast to move ENE across Louisiana and will increase rain chances as it moves across the Central portion of the state.
Tuesday was the first day of Fall. The average high for this day is 86, but the high was 79. Cloudy skies and showers helped keep the temperatures down. Rain chances will go down Friday into the weekend. More sunshine is forecast. That also means it will be warmer with highs climbing into the mid to maybe even upper 80s! A cold front moves through with slightly cooler morning lows Monday.
