Flash flood watch is in effect for west portions of the viewing area through Wednesday at 7 PM. Forecast models show some heavy rain potential over the South Central portion of Louisiana.
Coastal Flood Warning is in effect through Noon Wednesday, then it becomes a Coastal Flood Advisory. Onshore winds are diminishing, but are persistent. That wind is pushing water onshore, and preventing water from exiting the lakes. The wind becomes more of a Southeast flow Wednesday, and will push water more to the Northshore. Stay weather aware.
