A stronger cold front will move through Sunday with cooler weather for the first of the week. Lows will drop into the 50s Monday with highs in the upper 60s. Even cooler Tuesday morning with lows dropping into the low 40s to low 50s. Lows in the 40s and 50s will continue into Thursday. Highs will be near 70 Wednesday and low 70s Thursday.
Watching Eta. It is moving parallel to the Coast of SC. Max winds now 40 mph. There is some potential that it may become a remnant low Friday.
Theta is still in the far East Atlantic. Max winds 65 mph. It may become a remnant low by Sunday.
Watching the Caribbean. Tropical wave Invest 98-L has an 80-90% chance tropical development. A depression may form within a couple of days. Models show the system moving towards Honduras and Nicaragua. The Euro model shows it holding together and moving into the Pacific. Should it become a storm, it will be the 30th storm this Season. The name will be Iota.
