It's been 14 days since we had .01" of an inch of rain. Finally, rain chances are going up. There is the potential to get locally heavy rain Wednesday and over the Weekend. One cold front moves our way Wednesday and stalls. it then moves back to the North as a warm front Thursday. Some showers are possible Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Another cold front approaches Friday with rain chances increasing especially to our North. Low pressure forms in the Gulf along the old boundary, and moves across our area Sunday with the potential for some stronger storms and locally heavy rain. Strong high pressure builds in with windy conditions Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will drop Sunday night into Monday. Highs Monday will only be in the mid 50s. It is possible parts of the Northshore may have their first freeze Tuesday morning. That means protect plants, pets and people!
