Big concerns for Central America as Eta is forecast to make landfall Tuesday morning with winds of 160 mph. 14-21 foot storm surge is possible. The hurricane will be a slow mover and may dump 15-25-35 inches of rain. Mud slides are likely. Eta is forecast to move across Central America and diminish. Some of the energy then moves back into the Caribbean. Forecast models are developing the system again. It is too early to say where it will go after that. Hurricane Season lasts through November 30th. So far we have had 28 storms, 12 became hurricanes and 4 became intense. It's been a bad year.
