It's one of those nights. Protect people and pets. It's cold outside. There is also a freeze and frost potential. Clear skies and light winds allow temperatures to drop. We will be close to freezing many locations, so protect tender vegetation Northshore, Coastal Mississippi, and away from Lakes on the South Shore. Not all areas will freeze, but still be aware of that frost potential.
A cold front moves our way Saturday night with rain increasing Saturday night into early Sunday. Some storms are possible. The Cold front and low pressure move east with improving weather Sunday. Sunny skies forecast Monday and Tuesday with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s. Clouds increase Wednesday with rain chances late Wednesday into early Thursday. Right now it is looking sunny and chilly for Christmas. That is far out, so subject to change.
