Chilly this weekend. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s. The better rain chance will be Saturday with about a 40% chance. Rain chances are lower Sunday. Mostly cloudy skies forecast with highs near 50. Expect a North wind at about 15-20 mph. That will make it feel colder. A strong cold front moves our way Monday. Rain chances go up afternoon and evening. There is the potential for a wintry mix mainly SW Mississippi into the Northshore Monday night and very early Tuesday. The concern is for some freezing rain and possibly some sleet. Stay weather aware. Temperatures will be dropping into Fat Tuesday. We have not had a freeze at the Airport since January 19, 2018. Looks like we will have a light freeze on the South Shore with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Breezy conditions will make it feel even colder with wind chills in the teens and 20s. It will be colder on the Northshore. There is some potential for lows in the mid 20s. This will be something to monitor.
