Highs this weekend will be in the low to mid 50s. Some rain Saturday, but rain chances are low on Sunday. A strong cold front moves our way Monday with increasing rain chances. Temperatures drop Monday night. Both the Euro and GFS Model show some potential for a wintry mix mainly for the Northshore. Some sleet or even freezing rain may be possible. Need to have the moisture when we have the cold air. Models may change again. Both models are now showing freezing temperatures for the South Shore. Lows drop into the upper 20s to near 30. Should it freeze at the Airport, it would be the first freeze since January 19, 2018 when it dropped to 28 at the Airport. Lows on the Northshore according to the Global models drop the temperatures into the low to mid 20s. We will have a strong wind too. Wind chills will be in the teens and 20s. This forecast is subject to change, but stay weather aware, and be prepared to protect plants, pets and people. Pipes may be an issue on the Northshore. Will keep you posted.
