A cold front moves our way Thursday with an increase in rain and storms. Locally heavy rain is possible. Looks as though there will be several time periods with rain. it's possible 2-3.5" rain may fall Thursday into Friday evening. Rain chances are lower Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Another stronger cold front moves through late Monday with the potential for sleet Monday night which may briefly change over to snow according to the GFS Model. This model has done very badly with Long range cold weather and frozen precip forecasts. Take this forecast with a great deal of skepticism. Both the GFS and Euro do show freezing temps on both sides of the Lake Fat Tuesday. I would plan accordingly. By the way we did have 5 inches of snow February 14th, 1895 which was also Fat Tuesday.
