Repairs underway on sewer main that ruptured, spewed sewage and rainwater for 24 hours in Metairie [ Local Stories]

Jefferson Parish Sewer Department personnel along with the Emergency Maintenance Contractor, BLD, were able to expose the damaged force main Thursday night and begin installation of a temporary repair.
