The 14th Dalai Lama will be visiting and speaking in New Orleans May 16-18. Tulane University is presenting the visit, which will feature a conference titled “Resilience: Strength Through Compassion and Connection,” the construction of an elaborate sand mandala at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and two events open to the public, including speeches by the Dalai Lama at the Convention Center (May 17) and an address titled "Strength Through Connection" at the UNO Lakefront Arena (May 18).
