Jefferson Parish authorities identified the two men killed in a Harvey shooting early Friday morning (April 26) as Ronald Cornin, 27, and Tymarlous Norman, 23.

Cornin and Norman were fatally wounded during a shooting in the 4200 block of Lac Couture Drive in Harvey just after midnight, according to Capt. Jason Rivarde, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responding to reports of gunfire found an unresponsive Cornin. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy determined Cornin, of Westwego, died of gunshot wounds to his torso and “lower left extremity,” said Mark Bone, chief death investigator for the Jefferson Parish coroner’s office.
Norman and a third shooting victim, an unidentified 31-year-old man, arrived at a local hospital a short time later, Rivarde said. They were driven to the facility in a private vehicle.
Norman, of Gretna, later died of his injuries, which included a gunshot wound to the chest, according to Bone.
The third victim suffered a gunshot wound to his arm and was in stable condition Friday, Rivarde said.
