4 shot in Central City

Four people were shot Monday afternoon (May 13) in Central City, New Orleans police reported.

Police were called around 3 p.m. to the 2100 block of Fourth Street, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the ankle. A second man was found in the 2000 block of Washington Avenue with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Two other victims arrived at Touro Hospital a short time later, suffering from gunshot wounds. Their genders were not immediately available.
